Jerod smith
The Founder and President of Child Ambassadors International brings more than 25 years of Christian ministry and nonprofit leadership experience. For over a decade, he has helped develop and lead ministries in Rwanda serving more than 1,000 children through education, nutrition, sponsorship, Christian formation, and community support. A United States Army veteran, Jerod holds a degree in Organizational Leadership and Ethics from Oklahoma Wesleyan University. He is also an author, speaker, executive coach, and consultant with experience in fundraising, donor stewardship, international partnerships, strategic planning, and organizational leadership. Jerod is passionate about empowering local leaders and building sustainable partnerships that help vulnerable children grow, thrive, and reach their God-given potential.
Dr. Christopher Bowen
With more than 30 years of leadership experience, Dr. Christopher Bowen is an executive coach, international speaker, author of 14 books, and owner of three successful companies. He is also the founder of Living Faith International in the Atlanta, Georgia area, where he led the church from its inception into a thriving ministry. As Executive Director of Dream Releaser Coaching alongside Dr. Sam Chand, he equips pastors, nonprofit leaders, and business executives around the world with practical leadership and organizational growth strategies.
Dr. Bowen holds a Bachelor of Arts from Beulah Heights University, a Master's degree in Leadership Development from Southwestern University, and a Doctor of Ministry in Counseling from Oral Roberts University.
Dr. George M. Rapier III
A distinguished physician, entrepreneur, and philanthropist dedicated to improving the lives of others. He founded WellMed Medical Management in 1990, growing it from a single clinic into one of the nation’s leading healthcare organizations serving older adults. Throughout his career, Dr. Rapier has championed innovation, compassionate care, and support for vulnerable populations. His extensive leadership experience and lifelong commitment to philanthropy bring valuable insight to the Board of Child Ambassadors International as it works to create lasting opportunities for children and communities around the world.
Boyd Cherry
An Oklahoma entrepreneur and the founder of Cherry Trucking and Dirt Sales. For more than two decades, he has built his company through hard work, dependable service, and strong relationships throughout the community. Boyd brings practical business experience, an entrepreneurial perspective, and a genuine commitment to helping others to the Board of Child Ambassadors International. His belief in responsible leadership and creating opportunities for others reflects the organization’s mission to bring lasting hope and meaningful change to children and communities around the world.
Dean West
The Founder and President of West Construction, a Tulsa-based multifamily general contracting and framing company he has led for nearly three decades. Through vision, perseverance, integrity, and resourcefulness, Dean grew the business from a small remodeling company into a respected competitor in the Eastern Oklahoma multifamily market. He brings extensive entrepreneurial experience, practical leadership, and a passion for solving complex challenges to the Board of Child Ambassadors International. Dean is deeply committed to empowering people in need with the resources and opportunities necessary to build better futures for themselves. He is especially passionate about ensuring children living in poverty receive the nutrition, education, and support they need to thrive.
